Australian Wedding Dress Designers for Every Bride

Your wedding day will often be remembered as the best day of you and your partner’s lives. Celebrating the love between two individuals is always a joyous occasion, and you want to find a gown that truly expresses who you are as a woman and a bride. A gown that suits your style, accentuates your figure, brings you confidence and makes you feel beautiful.

Not every bride can be defined by one wedding gown style, so, we have created our ranges so that every bride to be can find a gown as unique, special and individual as she is.

About Peter Trends

Australian wedding dress designers and sisters, Monique and Paulein Boersma, have been creating  bridal gowns for more than two decades at their family-owned business, Peter Trends Bridal.

Peter Trends Bridal Australia launched at the New York Bridal Fashion Week bridal market in 2017. The head office and showroom is located in Sydney, Australia. On the city’s north shore, the showroom unveils all the Peter Trends collections and international brands where Australian brides can find their perfect wedding gown. Boutiques around Australia and New Zealand also stock the collections.

Monique and Paulein work closely with their production team to ensure a personal touch is instilled in each creation. Not every bride can be defined by one wedding gown style, so the ranges have been created so that every bride to be can find a gown as unique, special and individual as she is.

About our Bridal Collaboration

The Rachel Rose Bridal Collection is a collaboration which brings together Peter Trends Bridal and the talented Rachel McConnell aka Rachel Rose, to deliver luxury to Australian brides. We are so proud to be working together on this exciting new range.

Sisters Monique and Paulein have over 60 years combined experience in creating and manufacturing magical Australian designed wedding dresses. When we mixed the Peter Trends wealth of experience with Rachel Rose energy, creativity and magic we knew we had created something special, something we knew the world and the bridal market needs – Australian wedding dress designers that deliver body positivity and inclusivity wrapped in love.

We share and express this through our social media and branding which Rachel is extremely passionate about. Rachel uses her platforms as a personal way to reach out and to connect with brides worldwide. “I am so inspired to uplift others and bring love and positivity to peoples lives not only through bridal but also through my music, which I express from my heart and soul”.

Brides can discover the Rachel Rose collection in Australia, The United Kingdom and The USA.

Bridal Collections

Emanuella

Monique and Paulein describe the Emanuella bride as “free-spirited, well travelled, curious, cool and wants to appear effortless in her approach to being a bride. She doesn’t want fuss and drama; she wants simplicity, ease and cool factor, which is reflected in the relaxed, sophistication of our range.”

The first collection of Peter Trends Bridal, Emanuella, is inspired by the sun-kissed shores of Australia.    The gowns often have a beachy-relaxed vibe with stand out features, where soft and finely-detailed fabric meets destination wedding.

Emanuella offers each client the freedom to add personal touches, with mix and match bodices, skirts, sleeves and necklines. The designs offer a look with a difference; sometimes boho, vintage or simple with clean lines, taking inspiration from the latest trends and luxury fabrics.

The collection encourages variations to design or bespoke options such as spilt sizing and special measurements to ensure the perfect fit, allowing brides to create a gown that is truly their own, suited to their personal style, shape and size.

Diva Curves

Monique and Paulein sum up their second line for the fuller figure; “Our mission is for every bride to embrace her curves. With this diverse collection, fuller figure brides can find a couture fit bodice to give great shape and support.

Every bride deserves to feel beautiful in their gown. This collection allows women of all shapes and sizes to find a couture wedding dress that supports their figure and accentuates their curvaceous features.

We create gorgeous soft and comfortable gowns that offer built-in support where it is needed, and a fit to suit your size. If you require special measurements above or below the off the rack sizes, our bespoke options allow you to custom fit your gown so you can enjoy your special day in a comfortable and elegant gown.

We work closely with our retail partners to ensure we understand your needs and suggest design elements to flatter and enhance every body shape. The collection has a range of trending styles including fit and flare, A line skirts, soft skirts and princess lines”.

What makes Peter Trends different from other Australian wedding dress designers?

For our Emanuella and Diva curves collections we have looked to women and fashion from today and the past; modern women of this century and romantic inspiration from history.

Our gowns can be ethereal ultra-feminine designs with a nod to yesteryear, but having said that, today the Peter Trends bride is a strong, free-spirited unique female in a league of her own; she appreciates romance and fashion but can effortlessly capture a sense of timeless beauty.

Having a retail studio in Sydney for over 30 years has given us direct contact with brides and has been a valuable part of the designer journey, helping us develop a deep understanding of the emotional connection of bride and wedding gown, as well as years of experience working with different body shapes.

Over the years we have made strong ties with brides from Australian families who have now had their own families and bring their daughters to us for the next generation of weddings.

As a sister team, we agree that the three favourite things about our job would be meeting clients and their families and being a part of their celebration of love. We love to create gowns that surpass the client’s expectations and make her feel special, beautiful and unique, as well as working with retail partners around Australia and the world and sharing their experiences.
