This event is a fabulous opportunity for brides who are located southwest of Melbourne, Australia.

The boutique is situated on one of the corner’s of James St, Geelong – surrounded by local art galleries, coffee hot spots and cake shops to absolutely die for. The store is a ground floor masterpiece, completely fit out with every comfort a bride and her entourage needs. A handmade reception counter and racks lining the walls is your dream bridal boutique destination! And The Veil take pride in offering a unique shopping experience for the contemporary bride and those closest to her. With the focus on the experience of finding your wedding dress in a relaxed, comfortable and personal atmosphere, surrounded by gowns outside of the norm and mainstream. The gowns are equal parts beautiful and unique, hand-selected by the girls who look after our brides.

The And The Veil philosophy is to provide AMAZING bridal wear no matter your size or your shape. The average ordered size in the boutique is a 16-18! And the average Australian woman are sizes 14-20.

The bridal consultants at And The Veil will take each client through the collection and describe all the possibilities available within the collection. During each appointment brides can view and try different bodice and skirt options to achieve the most flattering and comfortable wedding dress for each individual’s body and personality.

Some of our favourite styles from the Believe Collection for different body types include Clarity and Galaxy for larger busted brides, Ocean and Stone for curvy brides, Opal and Petal for brides who want to show off their long legs, Love and Angel for petite brides and Dove for brides who have less curves and need more shaping. The Empire skirt is perfect for curvy brides and can be worn as a second look or made into a complete gown with your choice of bodice from within the Believe collection.

The idea of And The Veil was brought to life in 2013 when mother-Daughter co-owners duo Bronwyn and Rebbeca created their boutique based on the experiences of Rebbeca when she went shopping for her wedding gown in 2009, Bec found nothing but size 6-8 samples and pushy sales people with no knowledge and no passion – this is the complete opposite of And The Veil. Both local ladies, the idea of sharing passion and love with the Geelong and Bellarine community was a total dream.

Rebecca has a passion for sharing her knowledge, having a good chat throughout your booking and knows exactly how to fit a bride of all sizes and shapes. Her previous role in accounts payable for a multi-million dollar company, she is the brains behind the cash side of And The Veil and watches your gown like a hawk during manufacturing and shipping.

Bronwyn has been around for many moons and married for 42+ years. She lives in
St. Leonards, has always looked after the community, with her previous role as an aged care nurse, she will go above and beyond to provide you with the most beautiful experience possible. She is all about making you feel comfortable and super special.

One of the your team members at Ans The Veil, Georgia is all about providing you an experience that is real and relaxed, she loves a good chat about literally everything. Georgia’s favourite collection in the boutique would be the Rachel Rose Bridal gowns, she feels they are incredible on our brides of all sizes and loves how confident our brides feel in these fabulous gowns.
