Olivia & Jon’s Very Own Western Australian Romcom with a Happy Ending Wedding by the Bay.

Our real bride Olivia looks breathtaking in the Brittany gown with her statement organza bow. What a beautiful wedding and stunning couple. We wish them an eternity of love and happiness.

Matilda Bay Restaurant was a perfect choice for this couple as it stands for a love affair between good food, wine and people. The venue is located on the edge of Perth’s beautiful Matilda Bay, with stunning views over the Bay, King’s Park and the city. Olivia and Jon wanted their guests feel like they were attending a romantic candlelit dinner, followed by lots of dancing, singing and drinking.

Their theme and inspiration for the wedding were romantic yet modern with soft blushes, nudes, gold and pops of black keeping things super elegant and sleek.

Olivia loved every part of her special day, but the highlight for her was walking down the aisle to her partner, and for Jon it was walking out together as husband and wife.

Jon and Olivia met in primary school but after school they went their separate ways – until 19 years later when their paths crossed again. They were destined to be together, and they call it their own RomCom 🙂 Jon surprised Olivia on their first anniversary with a beautiful picnic at home, just the two of them, with Vance Joy playing in the background. A perfect moment, Olivia recalls.

The Brittany gown is the epitome of elegance and class. Her bodice features statement draping over a stunning corset whilst the pleated skirt features an A-line skirt, with cross over pleats featured in the modern split to show off your leg when walking. This Australian designed wedding dress has a cathedral train that adds drama to the back and pearl buttons finish off the zip. Olivia added a statement organza bow to the back to complete her bridal look.
