Jodie wore a bespoke blush pink wedding dress for her wedding to Liam at the historic Railway Temora in regional NSW, Australia.
Jodie and Liam planned a low key wedding so all their friends and family could let their hair down and enjoy the day! They exchanged vows at the historic Railway Temora before partying the night away at their reception at Springdale Hall. We put together a unique bespoke bridal gown for Jodie in blush pink with a beaded bodice and soft tulle skirt, together with local store, Affordable Bridal. We asked Jodie a few questions about her wedding day and shopping for a gown.
Peter Trends Bridal: How did you meet your husband? Jodie: We met at work and quickly developed a friendship before dating.
Peter Trends Bridal: How did your partner propose to you? Jodie: He prepared a picnic to replicate one of our first dates. Although it ended up raining so he set it up in the lounge room of our newly purchased home.
Peter Trends Bridal: Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration? Jodie: There was no theme although we wanted to keep it low key so guests could let their hair down and enjoy the day.
Peter Trends Bridal: How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown? Jodie: There are so many beautiful gowns out there, however I decided to take a gamble on a bespoke gown which combined elements from a few Peter Trends designs.
Peter Trends Bridal: What did you love about your wedding gown? Jodie: I loved how the layers of blush tulle were complemented by the earthy tones of the country setting.
Peter Trends Bridal: Any words of wisdom for future brides? Jodie: Be flexible and enjoy the process.
