It’s true that sometimes the universe leads you to the gown of your dreams.
Canadian bride Jenna knew she had fallen in love for the second time when she discovered an image of our Forrest dress from the Rachel Rose collection by Peter Trends Bridal.
The Forrest gown is a fit and flare shape gown with a square neckline and long lace train.
She searched high and low in over 7 bridal stores but could find anything remotely like the Forrest with it’s unique organic lace train. The lace design mirrors the shapes and curves of a tree’s leaves in nature and tendrils appears to “grow” from the edge of the train hem.
After feeling disappointed with another gown purchase, Jenna finally reached out to our Australian wedding dress designer, Rachel Rose, through a direct message on Instagram and Rachel was delighted to chat to Jenna eventually leading to the first special trunk show event at Sash and Bustle Bridal, who are now our exclusive retail partners in Toronto Canada.
Jenna consulted her lovely fiancé Paul who encouraged her to go try on and purchase this incredible dress that she could not forget because he knew how much it meant to her.
As Jenna describes that moment to us,
“Sure enough, when I put Forrest on I instantly knew it was my dress”.
We asked Jenna what she loved most about her Forrest gown,
“How confident I felt wearing it cause it flattered my curves”.
Does Jenna have any words of wisdom for future brides?
“Enjoy all the little moments throughout your day. It really does fly by…. And if you want that second dress.. BUY IT! “
Paul & Jenna Latawiec were married on Sunday Sept 26th, 2021, at Carmens Banquet centre
in Dundurn Castle, Hamilton Ontario. The wedding party looked handsome in a black and white colour palette and the couple’s gorgeous little daughter was adorable as flowergirl.
