Garden Wedding NSW

Acacia and Todd were married on 31st March 2018 in a gorgeous ceremony in Leeton, NSW. Acacia chose the beautiful Madagascar lace dress, perfect for a garden wedding! She was looked after by the bridal store, Something and Love in Griffith. The pair exchanged vows in front of loved ones in the picturesque gardens of Billenbah on the Bidgee, on a perfect day by the river. The images captured by the super talented Erin Catanzariti, show the essence of their love. Here we asked Acacia a few questions about her big day….

Peter Trends Bridal: How did you meet your husband? Acacia: We grew up in the same town. We both lived on farms 10 minutes from each other and attended the same primary school.

Peter Trends Bridal: How did your partner propose to you? Acacia: On my birthday. We were sitting outside having a coffee when he told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He then pulled a ring out of his pocket.

Peter Trends Bridal: Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration? Acacia: We loved how rustic Billenbah was. The garden was incredible. We really didn’t do much else to the ceremony/reception as it was already stunning.

Peter Trends Bridal: What was your favourite part of your wedding day? Acacia: How much love there was for us. Having all our favourite people together was amazing.

Peter Trends Bridal: How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown? Acacia: Loved it. Was the first dress I tried on. Something and Love were fantastic.

Peter Trends Bridal: What did you love about your wedding gown? Acacia: Everything! The train, the lace. It fitted me perfectly. The back was incredible!

Peter Trends Bridal: Is there anything special you would like to share with us about your wedding day? Acacia: The weather was perfect! 30 degrees no wind, by the river. It was unreal.

Peter Trends Bridal: Do you have any words of wisdom for future brides? Acacia: Take your time! Enjoy the day as it goes so fast.
