Billenbah on the Bidgee Wedding, Euroley – Tess & Declan

Tess and Declan met each other while playing country Netball and Football for the same club. After a casual proposal, with Netflix playing in the background, the relaxed vibe continued for their special day. The couple chose a beautiful wedding destination in Billenbah on the Bidgee and were drawn to the natural, rustic grounds surrounded by gum trees. They exchanged vows in front of family and friends with celebrant, Aaron running the show! Tess looked amazing in our Oxfordshire wedding gown from the Emanuella collection.

We spoke to Tess about her wedding day and bridal shopping experience.

Peter Trends Bridal: How did you meet your husband? Tess: Playing country netball and football at the same club.

Peter Trends Bridal: How did your partner propose to you? Tess: Declan proposed to me one night in our small apartment lounge room with a plate of chicken nuggets, and Netflix, in the background!

Peter Trends Bridal: How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown? Tess: Easy! I went shopping by myself one day, tried this one on and knew straight away it was the one. It was only the second shop I had been to.

Peter Trends Bridal: What did you love about your wedding gown? Tess: So lightweight and easy to move around in! Also suited our wedding venue perfectly.

Peter Trends Bridal: Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration? Tess: No theme, I really liked the rustic, natural, gum inspired look!

Peter Trends Bridal: Is there anything special you would like to share with us about your wedding day? Tess: Just that it was the greatest day of our lives.

Peter Trends Bridal: What was your favourite part of your wedding day? Tess: The dance floor!!

Peter Trends Bridal: Do you have any words of wisdom for future brides? Tess: Keep an open mind and don’t stress too much about it! And shop alone!!
