Bianca & Ryan’s wedding at the state-of-the-art grandiose Ballroom at Ellis Preserve, Philadelphia, USA

Bianca and Ryan met in a math class at school, and it didn’t take long for love to blossom. These two love birds tied the knot at beautiful St Joseph Parish, Downingtown, followed by reception and party at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve Newtown Square. The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is an historic wedding venue in Newtown Square, Philadelphia. The facility honours the legacy of a local entrepreneur, Charles Ellis, and was built in 1932. It is located in Delaware County and is built in a grand Greek revival style. The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve features towering columns indoors and out, and these beautiful grounds were the perfect setting for Bianca and Ryan.

Bianca shared some of her fairytale love story with us:

I met my husband in 11^th grade trigonometry class, and we started dating towards the end of 12^th grade. Ryan’s original proposal plan involved pitching a white tent outside strung with lights and flowers, however the wind had other plans. Luckily the entire setup fit in my basement and the proposal was perfect.

My favorite part of our wedding day was dressing in traditional Vietnamese Ao Dais and walking around to each table and taking a group shot. It was such a great way to make sure we said hi to everyone.

Our wedding vibe was timeless and romantic. Our wedding colors were dusty blue, green, white, and gold. For our reception we knew we wanted a party vibe and we definitely were able to deliver a rager.

I shopped at two stores before I found Sonoma at our Pennsylvania retail partner Daydream Bridal, Ardmore. The shop was phenomenal, and I was able to find my dream dress quickly.

Bianca chose the glamourous Sonoma gown from our Emanuella Collection which is a show stopper! This Australian designed wedding dress has amazing rose floral lace throughout the bodice and layers of soft floaty tulle for a touch of added romance throughout the gown. The sweetheart neckline bodice is a fitted corset style with semi-sheer lace and the skirt is a full ball gown shape with a cheeky split to showcase some leg, not to mention Bianca’s killer shoes!
