Beach Wedding

Amanda and Gaz held their beach wedding on 10th February 2018 at the Jindalee Beach Deck in Perth, Western Australia. The weather and views were spectacular over the ocean with a relaxed sea-side vibe the order of the day. The groomsmen were in shorts and thongs, what could be more Australian and perfect for a beach wedding! The bride looked stunning in her Scarlet gown by Emanuella purchased from renowned local boutique, Bridal by Aubrey Rose. She paired the gown with a touch of babies breath in her hair and bare feet with foot jewellery. We recently asked Amanda a few questions about her big day and finding her gown!

Peter Trends: How did you meet your husband? Amanda: We met through a friend in 2009 and then lost contact for awhile. We reconnected in 2014 and haven’t looked back since.

Peter Trends: How did your husband propose to you? Amanda: He proposed underwater while we were diving in Indonesia. He had tied the ring to a shell which he wrote “marry me?” on.

Peter Trends: How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown? Amanda: I loved it. The girls at Bridal by Aubrey Rose were so friendly and helpful.

Peter Trends: What did you love about your wedding gown? Amanda: I loved how unique and beachy it was. It was the perfect shape and I loved the pearl straps and how the bow on the back created a perfect figure.

Peter Trends: Any words of wisdom for future brides? Amanda: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Make the wedding about you and your future husband and you will have so much fun with no stress.
