Emanuella

The Emanuella bridal collection by Peter Trends Bridal is inspired by the sun-kissed shores of Australia. Motivated by Australian brides and our enthusiasm for destination weddings, we have created a collection of gowns which can be worn effortlessly by the ocean in the Mediterranean, Hawaii or Bali but at the same time in a vineyard or country setting. Each style can be whisked off on an aeroplane and then worn all day and into the night with ease.

Our dynamic sister duo, Paulein and Monique, whose parents founded Peter Trends Bridal in 1969 are the designers behind the Emanuella dresses. Each season they take inspiration from the latest trends and luxury fabrics on offer and do what they do best! Create a unique, Australian inspired range that is very wearable but really has a fashion-forward look.

The gowns are soft and floaty, featuring beautiful soft chiffons and light tulles, illusion bodices and of course our striking laces with delicate hand-beaded details. We have used a number of splits to show bronzed legs and low backs are a stand out. Our bridal gowns offer a relaxed look but with a superior fit and construction, with the boning and contoured busts that Emanuella by Peter Trends is renowned for.

The Emanuella collection also offers freedom for brides to add their own personal touches and create a bridal gown that is truly their own. For starters, we offer a variety of colour options from ivory, cream and rum through to our deeper toned mocha gowns. One of our favourites is mocha as we find it shows off the intricate details of our laces and suits many skin tones. For the daring bride we even offer a blush colour or an ice-blue shade for certain gowns. Our beads and pearls are hand-dyed and create masterful patterns over the laces. One of our stand-out gowns is Dominica with it’s beautiful scalloped lace and pearl beaded pattern on the bodice. The contours of the gown are amazing.

We have a number of different necklines available for each of our gowns. Perhaps you have fallen in love with a strapless style but would prefer lace sleeves and a lace back or maybe you dream of an open back and would like to lower the neckline by a few inches. Depending on the styles chosen, we can offer so many different design options. We also design a range of mix and match overskirts which allow the bride to have an a-line formal silhouette for the ceremony and then a more fitted sexy style for the evening reception. For those Winter brides we have a selection of lace boleros and jackets or faux-fur stoles to cover the shoulders and add a touch of old-world glam and some much needed warmth.

The collection is designed alongside a range of accessories by Monique and Paulein, which allows the bride to create a perfectly co-ordinated ensemble. We offer veils in finger-tip length through to full cathedral veils. There are plain styles in soft delicate tulle that fall down the back of your Emanuella dress like a soft breeze and then other more structured veils with beaded edging or lace scalloping. Our headpieces, crowns and earrings complement the colours and style of the gowns and many are offered in gold, rose gold and silver colouring so you can choose your favourite. There are a number of beaded belts featuring, diamantes, pearls and lace motives that can be added to the waistline of your gown and perfectly cinch in the waist. Sometimes a simple, narrow belt in a complementary colour to the Emanuella dress is all that is needed for that final finishing touch.

It is exciting times for the Emanuella collection having just been launched at New York Bridal Fashion Week! Our designers loved the opportunity to meet with US bridal boutique owners from around the world at the Knot Couture Show and discuss our range. US buyers were keen to see the latest offering from Australia and the range will be sold in a number of boutiques next year. In the meantime, we have special trunk shows scheduled throughout the USA and also in Australia to showcase the 2018 gowns.
